We successfully conducted 3 days technical training program for engineers and operational staff of FESCO on Transformer Oil Dehydration Plants (6,000 liters per hour capacity) manufactured by GlobeCore.
The training was delivered in collaboration with Mr.Jose Mora, a senior technical representative from GlobeCore, who brings over 15 years of international experience in transformer oil dehydration and regeneration technologies. His practical insights and in-depth technical knowledge provided significant value to the participating engineers.
Our technical team, consisting of Engr. Ahsan Bhatti, Engr. Irfan Mairaj, Engr. Umair Shahid, and Engr. Muhammad Ahmad, jointly conducted the sessions alongside the manufacturer’s expert. The FESCO participants showed enthusiastic and active involvement throughout the program, demonstrating a strong commitment to learning and operational excellence.
The training covered the complete transformer oil dehydration process, including system operation, maintenance practices, safety procedures, and performance optimization. Special emphasis was placed on oil quality parameters and compliance with IEC standards, enabling field engineers to achieve maximum efficiency and reliability from the installed equipment.
At the conclusion of the training program, a certificate distribution ceremony was held, along with a technical presentation on Transformer Oil Regeneration Plants, highlighting modern solutions for extending transformer life and improving asset reliability.
Certificates were formally distributed by Mr.Waqas Baig, Chief Engineer (Development) PMU FESCO, and Mr. Rana Afzal, Director (Procurement), in recognition of the participants’ successful completion of the training.
Upon our formal request to MEPCO, a dedicated team was deputed by the Chief Engineer (Supply Chain), MEPCO Multan, to specially attend the closing session and the presentation on transformer oil regeneration technology.
The MEPCO delegation included Engr.Sajid Mehmood, XEN GSO MEPCO; Engr. Imran Umer Lodhi, XEN TRW MEPCO; and Engr.Muhammad Iftikhar, LS-1 TRW MEPCO. The MEPCO delegation attended the presentation on transformer oil regeneration plants with the objective of enhancing their practical knowledge and gaining deeper insight into advanced regeneration techniques. The session focused on how existing expertise can be further improved through modern processes, optimized operational practices, and effective asset life-extension strategies.
